Audrey and Andrew’s spring wedding at Omni Barton Creek was filled with floral touches and a Ginger Jar-inspired color palette. They wanted their wedding to be joyous and a celebration so that guests could relax and enjoy the evening. Like many couples, they had to postpone their wedding a few times, so after many years of being engaged, they were ready to tie the knot!
Their ceremony and reception took place at The Rock House, one of Omni Barton Creek’s five in-house venues. Surrounded by picturesque hills and softly bubbling streams, it was the perfect place for this sweet couple to say “I do.”
“Something Blue” Wedding Day Details
As she walked down the aisle, Audrey looked stunning in the Dani gown by Marchesa. This gown was made for a spring bride, with a delicate sweetheart neckline and softly flowing floral appliqués. Meanwhile, her “something blue” shoes from Loeffler Randall complemented the dusty blue dresses of her bridesmaids so well. The fresh green surroundings at the venue really made the colors stand out! In addition, Audrey carried a beautiful organic bouquet from Stems Custom Floral. Anemones and soft peach roses filled the center, while clusters of blue flowers added a colorful accent. Her bridesmaids also carried roses accented with ivy and miniature daisies.
Their ceremony was very meaningful to them since Andrew chose to wear his grandfather’s wedding ring. During the ceremony, the best man walked to the grandmother to get the ring, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the space. It was such a special moment for them both!
Reception at The Rock House at Omni Barton Creek
Audrey and Andrew chose a Sperry tent for their reception to create an open-air space that also provided shade. Their decor seamlessly incorporated the blue and white color palette, which looked so elegant. Cream-colored linens, blue tapers, and gold cutlery topped each tablescape. Meanwhile, blue and white china vases with stems of daisies and Japanese anemones made a lovely finishing touch.
I also loved how many personalized details this couple incorporated into their celebration. Their guest favors were customized coozies featuring their wedding crest and date. Throughout the evening, their guests also enjoyed watching Snap Chic Wedding Painting create a live painting of the newlyweds. It was the perfect way to entertain those less inclined to the dance floor! But, for those who came to party, there were stacks of sequined costume cowboy hats—a Texas wedding must-have!
I had so much fun documenting Audrey and Andrew’s wedding at Omni Barton Creek. Are you planning an Austin wedding and need someone to capture your special moments? I would love to hear from you! Send me all the details of your special day (or just what you know so far!), and I’ll be in touch!
