Jake & Leah planned their Four Seasons Austin wedding with one thing at the center: bringing their people together. From the lively rehearsal dinner at South Congress Hotel to a tented dinner under the stars, every moment was designed to celebrate not only their love but also the community that has shaped their story. As an Austin wedding photographer, these are the moments I treasure most: when every guest feels part of something truly meaningful.
A Weekend of Celebration
Jake & Leah kicked off their wedding weekend with a rehearsal dinner at the South Congress Hotel. Instead of keeping it small, they invited every guest, turning the evening into a colorful, music-filled celebration. With vibrant rentals, live music from Moontower Band, and plenty of dancing, it set the perfect tone for the heartfelt weekend ahead. I always love it when couples choose this route; it gives them the chance to slow down and actually spend time with the people they love most. On the wedding day, moments fly by so quickly. But a rehearsal dinner like this means you can laugh with your college friends, grab a drink with your favorite aunt and uncle, and soak it all in.
Ceremony Under the Texas Live Oaks at Four Seasons Austin
Jake & Leah’s Four Seasons Austin wedding was all about intention. Their weekend celebrated not only their story, but the story of the community around them. Guests gathered beneath the iconic live oaks on the lawn, welcomed with champagne and the buzz of anticipation. Leah, radiant in her Monique Lhuillier Fleur de Lis gown, walked down the aisle, and the two shared heartfelt vows that had every guest reaching for tissues. It was timeless, emotional, and beautifully true to them.
For dinner, guests stepped into a Sperry tent that felt nothing short of magical. Blue linens lined the tables, paired with wooden wishbone chairs and spring flowers in soft blush, yellow, and white. Overhead, large floral installations added bursts of color, tying the whole space together. Before dinner, Leah’s father toasted the couple, a touching reminder of the family bond at the heart of the celebration.
After dinner, the reception moved indoors, where Love & Happiness kept the dance floor full for hours. A choreographed first dance gave way to a high-energy evening filled with music, laughter, and nonstop celebration. Leah later changed into a chic satin mini dress, perfect for dancing the night away. Guests enjoyed late-night snacks, including breakfast tacos and short rib flautas, before the couple shared a private last dance, a beautiful close to the night.
A Wedding Weekend in Austin
As a photographer, what stood out most was the way Jake & Leah prioritized their community. From their all-guest rehearsal dinner to their family-centered ceremony to a reception overflowing with laughter, every choice reflected their values. It was a wedding that felt intentional, joyful, and uniquely theirs, a reminder of why I love photographing weddings at the Four Seasons Austin. Planning a wedding weekend in Austin?
