While I have always loved shooting brands, I have developed an even deeper connection to brand photography over the last few years. We are in an era where businesses rely on great content. And that also means beautiful photography that stands out! Ali from The Spring Wellness wanted a branding shoot that reflected her incredible business and her own personal healing journey. 

Ali founded The Spring after her misdiagnosis journey, which led her to take her body into her own hands. She explored integrative medicine, and Nutrition Response Testing, which allowed her to live a healthy life. The Spring is a community that is dedicated to the betterment of body, mind, and soul – and she wanted that to be reflected in her branding.

A Studio Branding Session

When planning branding shoots, I work with my clients to curate beautiful images and create an environment that ties them all together. Since this brand is rooted in natural care, a light and airy space was essential. Ali wanted fresh, clean, and sophisticated but with a touch of playfulness.

The Ashleigh Amoroso Studio was a perfect fit! This beautiful studio in Downtown Austin is unique because it has a shoot and prep kitchen! It has been used by brands such as Target and Magnolia Network. The gorgeous natural design and large open windows allowed us to capture Ali and her family cooking and eating.

Cooking is very important to her; she loves being in the kitchen with her husband and young son. Some of my favorite images are of her son playing around the kitchen, smiling, and laughing! The images are truly an illustration of her life. We also used their empty studio space for headshots, allowing for clean, distraction-free headshots.

Lifestyle Details

Ali chose our half-day branding shoot package, which is the best fit for those who need a variety of content. She wanted to make sure that she didn’t just have new headshots but a complete gallery that could be used on her new website and on social media. When photographing stock images for brands to use, I like to make sure there are a variety of blank spaces to allow for text to be added.
