An Intimate Wedding at the Four Seasons Austin

I’m a photographer in Austin, Texas capturing sophisticated celebrations, elevated experiences, and refined clientele around the globe.

Hi, I'm

From Austin to Mexico, I’ve photographed weddings of every scale. But Renick and Louie’s Four Seasons Austin wedding was a masterclass in quiet luxury and intentional design. Seventeen people, one beloved dog, and a palpable sense of presence that filled every moment. Renick and Louie will celebrate again with a larger gathering in Buffalo, New York, later this year, but here in Austin, they gave themselves permission to slow down.

A Ceremony Beneath the Oaks at Four Seasons Austin

The ceremony took place on the lawn at the Four Seasons Hotel Austin, one of my favorite venues in the city. There’s something magical about the way the heritage live oaks stretch across the property, their branches wrapped in glowing lights. Terra Vista Strings played softly as guests arrived, and the ceremony was deeply personal, especially with a friend officiating.

Renick embodied effortless sophistication in the Charlie gown by Danielle Frankel, a raised cowl neck, bias-cut silk wool dress with a scarf-draped open back. The gown’s minimal design paired beautifully with the setting – elegant, architectural, and refined.

Some moments were also captured on 35mm film, adding an extra layer of intimacy and texture to the story. Film has a way of translating emotion in a way that digital never fully can. Those fleeting, unguarded glances that linger long after the day ends are some of my favorites.

A Private Dinner at Le Calamar

After the ceremony, guests transitioned to Le Calamar, a new Austin restaurant celebrated for its focus on locally sourced ingredients. Renick and Louie bought out the space, transforming it into a private dinner reception that felt equal parts refined and relaxed. The tables were lined with freesia, Queen Anne’s lace, roses, and calla lilies, with candles lit for an extra touch as the sun set. A long floral display of white hydrangeas, peonies, roses, calla lilies, mums, and anthuriums stretched across the front of the bar, filling the space with texture and fragrance. Every detail was understated yet intentional, and truly quiet luxury at its finest.

An Intimate Wedding Rooted in Connection at the Four Seasons Austin

This Four Seasons Austin wedding was more than just a celebration – it was an intentional reflection of Renick and Louie’s relationship: deeply personal, family-oriented, and quietly refined. Every element, from the delicate florals to the locally inspired dinner, was chosen with love and purpose. It’s a reminder that the most meaningful celebrations aren’t defined by scale, but by the depth of emotion they hold. Whether in Austin, New York, or anywhere in the world, my favorite stories to tell are the ones that feel like this.
