Love and joy filled the air at this Austin Country Club wedding! Hannah and Stieler are two devoted Texas Longhorns who met while studying at the University of Texas. They went on their first date at the original Chuy’s Restaurant (an Austin staple!), and it wasn’t long before both fell head over heels. Soon, Stieler began hatching a plan to propose.
The couple went to dinner at Sway Thai overlooking downtown Austin on the night of the proposal. Romance was in the air as they looked over the city where they fell in love! Stieler started giving a romantic speech, but Hannah couldn’t tell if he had a ring. Then, he got down on one knee and pulled a ring box out of his cowboy boot! After many happy tears and an ecstatic YES, they were engaged. I’m so glad I could help them celebrate this next chapter of their lives.
Gray and White Wedding Details
Hannah and Stieler selected an elegant dove gray and white color palette for their wedding day. They envisioned white flowers and greenery incorporated throughout every space for a timeless feel. Their planner, Verve Events, brought their vision to life in collaboration with Townsley Designs and Westbank Flower Market. Fresh white petals filled the aisle at their ceremony in the Smith Family Chapel, while sprigs of greenery and white roses adorned the altar in place of a traditional arch.
To match the décor, Hannah and her bridesmaids carried organic bouquets filled with roses, hydrangeas, and Canterbury bells. Meanwhile, the bridesmaids wore satiny silver-blue gowns from Revelry that beautifully offset the pops of white.
The white floral details carried into the couple’s reception at Austin Country Club, on the tablescapes and the stage where Matchmaker performed. The stage drew everyone’s eyes with a lush display that adorned the front and the top of the custom-monogrammed backdrop.
But the most showstopping element of the design was the balloon installation by The Balloon Collective. White balloons covered the ballroom ceiling and were filled with lights. Guests loved it, and they looked amazing while dancing as they continuously changed the colors inside the balloons!
Bridal Portraits at Austin Country Club
As a photographer, one of my favorite parts of any wedding day is whisking the couple away for their portraits. Hannah and Stieler’s wedding was no different. The grounds at Austin Country Club were stunning and made the perfect backdrop. I especially love the photos that feature the 360 Bridge, an iconic Austin sight.
However, what I loved most about photographing Hannah and Stieler was their presence. They enjoyed every big and little moment throughout their special day, and it shows in their photos! They weren’t afraid to laugh, cry, and let go in front of the camera.
If you’re planning a wedding in Austin, I would be honored to capture your one-of-a-kind bond with your partner. Get in touch to start preserving your memories.
