Beth and Carl are absolutely, heartbreakingly adorable together. When I first met Beth, Carl was in Dubai and obviously not able to join us for our meeting. I listened to Beth's descriptions of Carl and couldn't wait to meet someone who made Beth so happy. She said he was Canadian, scruffy and had lots of tattoos. I laugh out loud when I think of this description - which he is all of these things, and more.
Since Carl lives and works in Dubai, I did not get to meet up with the pair for a more relaxed portrait session until after their wedding day. We started our day at the most unique place I ever shot in Houston. A little gem tucked away near Telephone Road called The Orange Show. If you've never been, I highly recommend it. And here is a shout out to the amazing Ashleigh (of Green Lily Events) for recommending such a cool spot!
