One of the first things I ask when I get together when another photographer is - what are your favorite blogs? Because if you are a geek like me, you follow about a TRILLION blogs a day. I find that blogs are a constant source of valuable information, incredible inspiration and just all around enlightenment.
With this thought in mind, I thought I would share my top favs photography blogs:
Nick Oncken - Nick is an incredible commercial photographer in the sunny state of California. The reason why I was so drawn to his blog is because he digs deep. His blog is not just about pretty pictures, but offers insightful information about branding, marketing and this crazy journey we all embark upon to become the best photographer we can be.
Jasmine Star - is another one of my all-time favs. Because I am such a loyal reader, I was able to quickly jump on the band wagon and be apart of her first-ever workshop. It was an amazing experience - she is so open and honest about her journey as a photographer. It is impossible not to learn something from her.
Amelia Lyon - How can you not love Amelia? Her blog is fun and full of love for life, her family and photography. Just looking at her images inspires me to try new things and grow as a photographer.
Sarah Rhoads - Last, but definitely not least, is Sarah Rhoads. I just recently fell in love with her blog through the PPA Fresh Blog competition that took place earlier this year. I was instantly inspired by her unique blog that scrolls horizontally...it is absolutely stunning. ALSO, I am super pumped that I have signed up for a "mentor session" with her during her stop in Houston, TX later this month. Don't worry, I'll be sure to post all about my amazing experience.
