I also challenged myself to capture my weekend in a different format. I often get stuck in a rut of only taking pictures when I am carrying my professional camera and because it is so huge, it is impossible to carry it around all the time. Hence, I miss some great moments in my life! As Chase Jarvis always says, "The best camera is the one that is with you." I put that to the test this weekend with my iphone and my favorite photo app ShakeItPhoto.

Megan and Ted are amazing. Such a relaxed couple - full of life and love. They have been together for many years, but Ted still looks at Megan with such admiration and care. You can just FEEL the love between them that is so effortless, so perfect.
We were not as lucky with our weather on this Saturday, you'll see halfway through rain started POURING. I threw a blanket around them and as I began to run to the car, I had to make them stop for a few shots - they were just so cute! Then, it was off to a nearby coffee shop. :)

Houston weather had been quite abysmal leading up until the day that we met up. It was like the clouds parted and all of a sudden the sun decided to shine. Heaven! Allison and Alex are an adorable couple that have been together for years and years, dating back to high school. They are the perfect match for each other and as soon as Allison beams her gorgeous smile at Alex...he instantly relaxed. I am so excited to shoot their wedding this coming July...enjoy!
